ZANE HOMESLEY

GOSHAWK FOUNDER, PRESIDENT

Zane graduated with an MS in wildlife science from New Mexico State University and has been working in environmental consulting since 1995. His experience includes threatened/endangered species and Waters of the US regulations and permitting. Zane's commitment to his clients inspired him to build Goshawk based on efficiency and reliability.

VALERIE LEARMAN

VICE PRESIDENT

Valerie has obtained more than 20 years of environmental consulting experience since she earned her MS in environmental engineering sciences from the University of Florida. Valerie concentrated on wetlands and Waters of the US throughout her studies and career. She is also knowledgeable about threatened and endangered species, as well as low-impact design.

Kaitlin Lopez

Environmental Specialist/Ecologist

Kaitlin graduated with an MS in wildlife ecology from Texas State University in 2018. Since then, she has developed an extensive background in the natural resources field. Her experience includes monitoring threatened and endangered species, plant community studies, and general avian surveys.

Koleby Thomas

Archeologist

Koleby received his BA from Colorado Mesa University with a concentration in History and Archaeology. He has been worked in the field of Cultural Resources Management since 2020. He has extensive archeological experience in the American Southwest.

Steve Evans

Cultural Resources Manager/ Principal Investigator

Steve is a Registered Professional Archaeologist with a BA from UT Austin and an MA from Sam Houston State. He has been working in the field of Cultural Resources Management since 2015. He has worked extensively in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico on projects related to oil and gas, electrical transmission lines, and parks. Steve is passionate about the past and enjoys helping clients navigate the web of regulatory laws.

Valerie Werfel

Archeologist

Valerie received her BA from the University of Texas with a concentration in anthropology. Since then, she has conducted archeological survey in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Belize. Her experience includes writing archeological reports for submission to regulatory agencies and preparing artifact assemblages for curation.

Siobhan Pritchett

Archaeologist/NEPA Specialist

Siobhan received her BS in Anthropology from Texas State University in 2019. She has worked extensively in Texas and New Mexico.

Kathy Roy

Office Manager

Kathy received her BS in computer science from Bowling Green State University. She has extensive experience in IT as project manager, and more recently administrative and accounting experience. Her excellent writing and organization skills make her a valuable resource for any type of project.

Thomas Norris

Environmental Specialist/Ecologist

Thomas received his BS from Texas State University in 2023.
